Mountains & Nature
Troodos Mountains
The Troodos range runs through the centre of the island and is noticeably cooler than the coast. Nature trails such as Artemis, Caledonia and Persephone start close to Troodos Square, and several of the UNESCO-listed Byzantine painted churches are a short drive down the valleys.
