Blue Lagoon, Akamas
The Blue Lagoon sits on the tip of the Akamas peninsula, a protected wilderness of gorges, sea caves and empty coastline in the far north-west. Most visitors reach it by boat from Latchi harbour; the land route is an unsurfaced track that ordinary rental cars are not permitted to use.

Local tips

- Bring snorkelling gear; the water is exceptionally clear and calm in the morning.
- There are no shops at the lagoon, so pack water and food.
