Hala Sultan Tekke & Salt Lake
Hala Sultan Tekke stands beside Larnaca Salt Lake, minutes from the airport. It is one of the most important Ottoman monuments on the island, set in gardens of palms and cypress. In winter the lake fills with water and hosts flocks of flamingos; in summer it dries to a white salt crust.
